There are two main types of CBD on the market, both offering unique benefits. Which one is right for you?
Both of our Full Spectrum and THC Free CBD oils are made with all-natural terpenes, no artificial flavors, and are sourced from a single award winning family farmer in Colorado. They’ve also both been extracted in a state of the art facility, have been independently tested by an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certified laboratory, and have lab test results publicly available on our site and via QR codes on each bottle.
While both products are widely used, what’s the difference between the two?
In short, Azalla Full Spectrum CBD Oil is made with CBD distillate that has been extracted from the hemp plant and contains a host of cannabinoids including CBD, CBG, CBN, CBDV as well less than .3% delta-9 THC. Azalla’s THC Free CBD Oil, which is made from a CBD isolate, is also extracted from hemp but has been third party laboratory tested to verify that does not contain any detectable amounts of THC. Due to the low to non-detectable amounts of THC in both products, neither product will produce a psychoactive high.
What are the benefits of Full Spectrum CBD?
Full spectrum CBD is named such because it contains the “full spectrum” of cannabinoids, terpenes and essential oils to magnify the therapeutic benefits of each compound and produce what’s commonly known as the “entourage effect.” This synergistic effect of the individual cannabis compounds working together was first studied by a group of Israeli scientists in 1998 and further popularized Dr. Ethan Russo’s 2011 paper Taming THC: Potential Cannabis Synergy and Phytocannabinoid-Terpenoid Entourage Effects. These studies both investigated the interactions between cannabinoids, terpenes, and other closely related molecules to help explain how botanical drugs are often more effective than individual compounds in isolation.
What are the benefits of THC Free CBD?
For those with strict work-related drug testing requirements, including law enforcement officers and military personnel, our THC-free CBD oils are recommended over our full spectrum products. Additionally, our THC-free CBD oils are also popular choices for first time CBD users and those who have been specifically recommended to take high doses of CBD.
Whether considering your individual body composition or work-related requirements, each person has unique situations that may affect whether a CBD isolate or a full spectrum product is right for their needs. Whichever you choose, we proudly stand behind all of our products and are honored to be a part of your wellness journey.
